hamlin house, llc is a storytelling umbrella from the imagination of semia-imani hamlin.

The company was originally founded as Hamlin House of Film in 2016, transforming as the needs and vision of the company grew over the years. It now features Hamlin House Media, the flagship company that provides preproduction and postproduction media services; Hamlin House Book Boutique, an online store selling book-themed merchandise; and The Creative Media Academy, an online learning hub featuring courses and masterclasses on writing, storytelling, and media. hamlin house, llc also publishes written works by semia-imani hamlin in the form of novels, journals, and poetry collections.

Head storyteller semia-imani hamlin is a proud alumna of Howard University and current MFA student at Emerson College. She writes poetry, fiction, and screenplays that highlight the stories of Black women and girls.
